I had to wait a few days to get these because we had a trip planned to the New Haven's Lighthouse Park and Carousel. The pictures were taken around dusk 7:30pm. I still have to learn how to take picture were the sun is beaming straight at me. This picture above is from inside the Carousel house facing out to Long Island Sound.
this picture below is of the Lighthouse itself which also has a house built below it. Were almost were able to go uptop but the staff wanted to go home for the night.

Love the window view! Beautiful light!
The top one is a far superior image due to the light. One almost never should shoot straight into the light unless you are looking for extreme effects....
That first pic looks like a post card not the long island sound. The yellow makes it look like it is from a Home and Garden magazine!! Good job.
